About ZOTAC ZBOX MAGNUS EN173080C system
Zotac has an extensive range of mini PCs ranging from the tiny P series up to the bulkier Magnus One series and even a VR-ready backpack. For CES 2022, the PC maker has announced the Magnus EN173080 series as an update to the existing Magnus EN072080 series. The newer model will continue to use the same chassis as its predecessor albeit with 11th gen Intel H-series CPUs and Nvidia Ampere GPUs to replace the older 10th gen CPUs and Nvidia Turing GPUs, respectively.
The move to the newer GeForce RTX 3080 would also make the Magnus EN173080 one of the smallest mini PCs with such a GPU option. It’s more than likely going to be the mobile version of the GPU, however, which would unfortunately make the RTX 3080 in the Zotac mini PC approximately 35 percent slower than a full-fledged desktop PC with a “proper” RTX 3080. It should nonetheless be a step up from the previous generation mobile RTX 2070 and 2080 options.
