About Cream T Guitars Aurora Electric Guitar

Aurora, as it has been named, has been designed by Gibbons with the collaboration of Thomas Nilsen, the person who has been making custom pickups for the ZZ Top guitarist for over 10 years with his company Cream T Pickups. The guitar that debuts the new Cream T Guitars division is made in the UK by PJD, and features a narrow mahogany body with resonance chamber and maple top with a choice of 5 finishes; Tune-O-Matic bridges with tailpiece or one-piece wraparound style; and a glued-in mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and exposed tuners.

Gibbons seems to like versatility and having different pickups to choose from instantly, and here, instead of Wild Custom Guitars’ Gyrock, they’ve opted for the Swiss Relish Guitars’ patented quick-swap pickup system that pulls out and inserts from the back. Up to 4 different sets ranging from PAF-style humbuckers to P90s are included with each guitar: Cream T ‘Whiskerbucker’, ‘Eliminator’, ‘Original Banger’ and ‘Banger & Mash’.
