About DJI OM 4 gimbal
The OM 4 is a powered three-axis gimbal with a handheld pistol-grip style design. Construction quality is quite good—the body is sturdy polycarbonate with a rubberized mount. It’s a little heavier than the Osmo Mobile 3 at about a pound, but a bit more compact overall. It measures 7.0 by 4.0 by 2.8 inches (HWD) when folded for transport.
In order to slim the design down from the previous model, DJI updated the connector to a magnetic, spring-loaded grip that attaches to your phone. It’s great in theory, but if you use a Google Pixel 4 or any phone with center-mounted buttons, you’re going to run into problems. On the plus side, it had no problems with large handsets like the iPhone 11 or the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, but you might have to remove your phone from its case, depending on how thick it is.
