About Doogee S61 Pro Smartphone

Unsurprisingly, DOOGEE will market the S61 and S61 Pro as rugged smartphones, with the huge bumpers there to protect them against drops and knocks. Additionally, the S61 and S61 Pro will come with textured back panels, pictured above. For reference, while DOOGEE shows one S61 series model with a translucent design, this is an effect, not a transparent back panel. Purportedly, all models have IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H certification, although the latter is a flexible standard. In short, no independent body certifies MIL-STD products.

Separately, DOOGEE includes a 6-inch display with a 1,440 x 720-pixel native resolution and 500 nits of peak brightness. Also, both models rely on the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC and 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, but the S61 Pro has superior cameras. Specifically, the S61 has a 20 MP primary camera and an 8 MP front-facing camera, compared to 48 MP and 16 MP sensors in the S61 Pro. Seemingly, both smartphones have IR LEDs for their 20 MP ‘night vision’ cameras, though.
