About LP-6 Studio Monitors
For most gamers, the Kali LP-6 speakers are going to be bigger than anything they’ve used in the past. Each speaker is 14.13 inches tall, 8.75 inches wide, and 10.25 inches deep weighing in at just over 15.5 pounds. There isn’t anything visually flashy about the LP-6. It’s a typical black box speaker without a grill. Construction is solid, especially for the $149 each price tag. The two-way design has a 6.5-inch woofer and 1-inch tweeter and there’s a port below each woofer. It’s bi-amped, meaning the woofer and tweeter each have their own 40-watt internal amplifier.
On the back are two balanced connections – TRS and XLR – and an unbalanced RCA. Unless you have an audio interface with the balanced connections, you’ll need a 3.5mm stereo RCA adapter that can be found on Amazon for a few dollars. Next to the inputs is a volume control knob.
