About TH575 Full HD 1080p Console Gaming Projector
BenQ has launched a new lower cost 1080p projector designed for gaming, the TH575. Also built for a home cinema, the projector can throw images up to 150-in (~381 cm) across, with a 1.49~1.64:1 throw ratio and a Rec. 709 color gamut. The picture is optimized using an auto vertical keystone tool, and the device has a light source with up to 3,800 ANSI lumens brightness that will last up to 15,000 hours. LampSave mode will intelligently adjust the brightness to extend the light’s lifetime.
You can connect to the TH575 via a range of ports such as HDMI, USB-A and 3.5 mm Audio. The company claims the features included on the device will enhance your gaming experience, such as 16 ms latency, a 1080p resolution and a 60 Hz refresh rate. In Game Mode, darker images are made clearer with a 15,000:1 contrast ratio. Plus, the projector has an integrated 10 W speaker. For comparison, the recently released BenQ X3000i can deliver 4K images with a 60 Hz refresh rate and 16 ms lag time or a 1080p picture at 240 Hz with a 4 ms lag. This device retails for US$1,999.
